Meet the Staff of Francis Kennels

Steve, co-owner and operator of the kennel is 45 years old and you can usually find Steve working in the kennel, transporting pets to and from their homes to the kennel, mowing the yard, and doing general duties at the kennel. 

Mary, co-owner and operator of the kennel is 45 years old and you can usually find Mary at the kennel working with children.  Mary is also a therapist and works primarily with children.  The dogs are therapeutic as well and Mary finds a way every day to incorporate helping children and the dogs!

Talerie is 47 years old and has worked in the dog field for 30 years.  She is ABKA certified, Level 1.  She enjoys dog training, competition in Schutzhund, Search and Rescue, Agility, and in her spare time enjoys camping and planting flowers. 

Mollie is 17 and has worked for the kennel for over 2 years.  She is ABKA certified, Level 1.  Mollie is the Queen multi-tasker and handles everyone with patience and compassion. She loves Labrador Retrievers, but loves ALL dogs and you can usually find her holding a kennel guest.  She also loves cats.  When she is not working, she is spending time with her family and friends.

Sue is 44 years old and has worked for Francis for over 4 years.  Before she came to us she worked for a groomer for several years.  She is ABKA Certified, Level 2.  She has 3 dogs of her own and enjoys fostering dogs for rescue organizations.

Erin is 20 years old and has worked for Francis for almost 4 years.  She has completed a grooming course at Penn Foster.  If at the kennel, you will find Erin bathing and grooming dogs.  When Erin is not working, she enjoys the outdoors including kayaking, hiking and woodworking.

Chad

Chad is 31 years old and has worked for Francis for over 2 years.  He has a lifetime of pet ownership experience.  Chad is ABKA certified, Level 1.  Chad also completed the Pet Care Services Level II Certification including animal anatomy and diseases along with supervisory techniques. He loves his dogs and cat and is often helping you bring your dogs in and getting them settled in, and taking them out for walks and play time in the park.  When Chad is not working, he enjoys playing games with his family, fishing and riding ATVs..

Jenny

Jenny is 25 years old and has worked for Francis for over 2 years.  She graduated from Dayton Academy of Dog Grooming and is a master groomer.  Jenny rides and trains horses, and you often enjoy her tiny little Toy Fox Terrier named Twiggy on visits to the kennel.  She she is not working, she enjoys traveling and good food!

Jessica is 21 years old and has been working at Francis Kennels for a year and a half.  She attends Sinclair College and will be graduating in the spring of 2010 with an associates degree in Architectural Technology.  After college, Jessica plans on transferring to Wilmington College to major in pre-vet.  Jessica is rarely seen without Zoey, her one year old Maltese.  In her spare time, she likes to play volleyball and coach volleyball at Greene County Volleyball Club.

Ally is 14 years old and has worked at the kennel since she was 5.  Yes, her parents own the kennel and she has been around animals all of her life. She has 4 dogs, 2 cats,  a rabbit and a leopard gecko. If she is not working at the kennel then she is playing basketball for her school's freshman team or hanging out with friends.
